Observation of World Environment Day - প্রকৃতিররঙেআগামীরপৃথিবী'
The Green Committee of Vidyasagar College successfully organised a program commemorating World Environment Day on June 16, 2026 under the theme ‘প্রকৃতিররঙেআগামীরপৃথিবী’ with enthusiastic participation from college students and also students from nearby schools. The programme featured a vibrant sit-and-draw competition where students from surrounding schools showcased their creativity through colourful artworks highlighting environmental conservation, nature protection, and sustainability, while students from the Departments of Zoology and Botany presented informative PowerPoint sessions on diverse topics including Global warming, Conservation Biology, biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable practices, thereby fostering greater environmental awareness and inspiring collective responsibility towards protecting our planet.
